Summer Update

If you stopped in to visit the library in the past few weeks, you noticed our many changes. We had a grand re-opening last Tuesday to show off our new renovations, and it was a lot of fun. The library looks like a new place: there is new carpeting, paint, and furniture, and doorways have been taken out, which leaves more room for books, activities, and people. We have a coffee station now, so feel free to enjoy coffee while reading a good book in one of our new chairs!

We have a lot of exciting programs and events this summer for both children and adults. We have an adult summer reading program in addition to the children’s summer reading program. You can find the link on our website to sign up, read and review books, and win prizes! We offer many other fun programs for adults including mahjong night, and an adult craft class. You can find more info about these on our website.

Our children’s programs are extra fun this summer. We offer Movie Monday, Science Storytime on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, Teen Tuesday, Weird Science Wednesday, and Family Thursday. You can find more information about these on our webpage as well, but be sure to register ahead of time, as these are always full of children who are eager to participate, and space is limited.
